Some travelers find the villa rental process confusing or scary, when it is anything of that.
But, here are some of your common questions and concerns about renting villas.

Booking process with Algarland « 8 easy steps »:
  1. Browse www.algarland.pt or some of our website partners as Holiday Rentals/Owners Direct/Homelidays/ Rent & Visit/ Choose Portugal.
  2. Narrow the villa you wish and send a Request Form Online or call Elsa on 00351 965237604 and let her help you with the villa selected.
  3. In meantime you can begin searching for your best flight rates avaibility.
  4. Once Algarland confirm to you the avaibility & total price for your stay, you have to decide to proceed with the booking process or not.
  5. If your decision is to proceed, a Rental Contract will be issued and sent to you with all the discriminations for your approval. Once you receive and approve the Booking Contract we will ask for a deposit to secure your vacation dates. From that day your dates will be Blocked for you for 5 days.
  6. When Algarland receive the deposit, all the original documentation (Invoice + Receipt + Booking Confirmation to present on arrival) will be sent to your home address by registered letter.
  7. Once your villa has been secured, Algarland (Elsa) can assist you with all the arrangements you may need such as Taxi Transfer / Hire Car /Excursions / Extra Reservations.
  8. Algarland ltd is a company with registered number 505621851 and Publication on Republic diary with the following refª216 of 17/09/2011 matriculate nr.2434/010731-19998(51) in Portugal, whose propose is Constructions and rentals of its own villas. All the bookings (deposits) made with Algarland are subject to Invoice and Receipt which provides you secure booking process.

Is there a minimum night stay?

Yes, usually there is a minimum of 3 nights stay. But you can always check that directly with the owner.
Is the photo in this website the exact villa we would be staying in, along with view?
Yes, all the villas have their own pictures that’s represents the exact property.

Is the Pool shared with other guests ?

No, all the villas have their own and private pool.

Who will do the maintenance of Pool and gardens during our stay?

During your stay there will be visits of the Gardner and pool man to make the maintenance, please let him do his work to keep gardens and pool in good conditions.

Who cleans the villa? Is that service included?

Yes, cleaning service is included on the villa rate and is made daily, except Saturdays and Sundays. Is there a vacation Insurance to cover the costs of bad weather ? No. No refunds applied.

What is the Breakage deposit ?

Breakage deposit is always paid on arrival in cash separately of the rental rate. The Breakage deposit will be kept with the owner till your departure day. On the departure day the owner will deal with the guest the meeting time for check out, by that time the owner will check the villa to verify any breakage / breakdown/lack of any contents of the villa. If the villa is in conditions the breakage deposit will be full delivered to you.

Is there any extra expenses ?

The villas are self-catering villas, that means the rental rate does not included (breakage deposit, food, and transportation, activities, and gratuities costs).

Is there Internet Access?

Yes, there is Wi-Fi free of charge. You only need to bring your appliance (mobile phone, Pc, Ipad, IPhone...) On arrival, who will be at the villa to welcome us? On the arrival of the guests, there will be someone (usually Elsa) to give you the keys and some informations about the villa itself and the area.

Who will be our contact during our stay ?

Elsa, the owner will be always available to answer your phone calls or to visit you at the villa for any reason.
